I have been looking forward to this photo shoot since we set the date!! I fell in love with the ice at Deer Creek Resort and HAD to get there! Erica Kidd was kind enough to be my model for today's shoot and it was breath-taking! She was stunning and was definitely feeling the serenity of the lake, as was I. It was a gorgeous evening and we enjoyed every minute of sunlight! And Men, SHE'S AVAILABLE!! :)
This year our family got a Christmas Miracle. My brother Matt and his wife, Becky, were expecting their fourth baby, a little girl. Prior to getting pregnant this time, the doctor said there was a very slim chance of conceiving again. It was an incredible blessing, and VERY surprising, when Becky found out she was pregnant. It was a high risk pregnancy from the beginning but you always hope to keep them in long enough for development. Becky's due date was not until April but something went horribly wrong in her body and she started bleeding internally. We almost lost her. Because of these complications, the baby had to be delivered, at 24 weeks gestation. Tiny Isabelle Grace was born 1 lb. 9 oz on December 11. We almost lost her a few times and there was not much hope at the beginning of her fragile life that she would make it. Through lots of tears, and even more prayers, "Bella bird" as her family calls her, it now 4 lbs. 9 oz. Bella is still in the NICU but we just had to steal a few minutes to get some pictures of this beautiful little family miracle.
Over this weekend, I was blessed with the honor of taking pictures of one of my dearest friends! Amanda and I have been close for almost 1o years. It has been a blessing to be able to have her as my walking buddy, craft buddy, and hang out buddy! Our kids love each other and have a blast as well so it makes it easy! Preston and Amanda have two little boys already (Aidan and Carson) but have just welcomed their first baby girl in November! The blessing was beautiful, as was the day, and of course THE BABY! We got a little taste of spring and it was perfect lighting for some beautiful pictures of this cute growing family!
I had a blast taking these pictures of my daughter, Avery! There is something precious about watching the people you love interact and smile :) These pictures were taken at the Main Street Park in Heber, Utah. I love finding fun little spots where you wouldn't expect them!
I was lucky enough to grab up a referral from family to take photos of this beautiful island couple! This Hawaiian/Marshall Island pair were both fun and gorgeous! We took a field trip across Salt Lake for this shoot and had a blast every minute! We started out up by the State Capitol Building and walked down State Street to find some fun little nooks for some pictures! After, we headed down to Liberty Park for some huge trees and these really pretty arches! This photo shoot was a blast and I am so ecstatic how the photos turned out!! Congrats Mala and Mark on your upcoming wedding and your lives together!
